I've never had a single hiccup with that device, which also has HDMI-CEC enabled.Ģ130: Server computer awake. Play services triggering it? Additionally, I have a Chromecast. It only happens with the Nexus phone and the app is usually not even running on the phone when this occurs. If that was the case, this behavior would be consistent across 4 other iOS devices and an Android Chromebook. Turning off HDMI-CEC is not the solution. Re-installing the app duplicated the behavior. Uninstalling the app during this cycle immediately stopped the behavior. Last night after midnight the TV kept waking about every 120 seconds. After the TV is woken, it displays a message that says, "Apple TV requires iOS version x.x or OSX version 10.x." This is clearly triggered from my Android phone. This results in the HDMI-CEC to wake the TV. Nexus 6 Android 7.0 running Plex App 5.6.1.505 (just bumped to 1.) running on Mac OS 10.10.5Īpple TV (A1625) 4th Gen tvOS 10.1.1 with HDMI-CEC enabled. Here's one video that is giving me problems: What has changed? Can I reverse it? My NAS isn't powerful enough to transcode these videos and I don't see any clues in the tvOS.xml profile file. The Plex status page show that it's transcoding from h264->h264 and audio is whatever to AC3 (or EAC3 with 1.5.1). Has anything changed with the Plex client or server? I think this started with Plex client 1.8 (I'm on the beta) or around around the time of the previous PMS beta release (not 1., the one before that) Up until about a week ago almost all of my videos played via direct play or direct stream, but now a significant percentage of videos are requiring full transcoding.
